The wildlife representation in my paintings derives from my keen interest in it, having gotten the chance to have lived among the marvellous fauna of the African bush and thanks to my new residency in South America that offers exciting opportunities for new encounters!

Quite quickly I have tried to leave the common path of pictural representation of the animal. I have integrated it with aesthetic objects of human industry suppressing the common sense of proportion to unite two distinct worlds and thus create a new and quite absurd one!

The objects I choose, generally in glass, bring more colours, and at the same time transparency, resulting in a consequent lightness of the composition.

I also like the marketing side of the object itself, not for the consumerism it represents, but in order to offer the observer landmarks in a world he knows better than the animal world! And even to bring back good memories.

Thank you for visiting my website, leave me your email address if you want to be kept aware of new additions to the gallery.

Best regards,

Guy
